Hidden gem of
Balnakeil Beach | Wolftrail
"When I imagine hidden gems of Scotland, I immediately think of the beautiful sandy beaches along the North Coast. The water is so clear, that despite the colder temperatures, you can’t help but immerse yourself in the waves as they roll in.It is so refreshing, that you have to remind yourself that you are in fact, in Scotland, and not somewhere tropical.
Once out, it’s important to keep yourself moving to heat up again, and what better way to do this than to adventure through the incredible landscape that is Sango Bay. This is the best part of Scottish beaches, when you get to explore around the massive rocks after the cool dip and finish the day with a campfire.
In typical Scottish fashion, you make the fun with moments like this, enjoying the warmth of friendship surrounding the fire." - Sarah Afiqah Rodgers.
